The Book of Days…part xlviii

There are words enough to tell the story of “the temptation of day to come.”
It is my delight to write some of them for your delectation.
s’more sky
A sky, well-baked,
the browning clouds are still,
there is no vigor nor vapor
nor prospect in the vault,
the wide, wide oven
of the star of day
is open,
one big tasty treat
that soon becomes
another sky.
